Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits

Jones Waldo’s Executive Compensation and Employees Benefits Practice Group provides guidance in various areas of compensation and benefits, including the design and administration of pension and profit sharing, 401(k) and employee stock ownership (ESOP) plans qualified under the Internal Revenue Code and compliance with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA). We also are experienced in designing non-qualified deferred compensation plans, stock option plans, stock appreciation rights plans, restricted stock plans, as well as flexible benefit plans. We have represented clients before the IRS, Department of Labor and Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation with respect to determination letter requests, private-letter rulings, advisory opinions, audits and funding deficiency waivers.
