Domestic and Family Law
Jones Waldo’s domestic and family law practice concentrates on complex financial, valuation and tax issues related to divorce and post-divorce modifications, as well as custody/relocation issues and prenuptial/cohabitation agreements. We strive to integrate our family law practice with our clients' individual and business goals.
Our services include preparing and negotiating prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements. We handle divorce actions, assisting clients in evaluating assets to determine equitable property distribution and support of both spouses and children.
In custody matters, we work with appropriate professionals to assist clients in determining what is best for themselves and their children and effect those results in negotiations or court, whether it be joint custody, split custody or sole custody, and help establish access that is appropriate for the individual parent and children. We also handle guardianships and adoptions.
Our team regularly consults with experts, including CPAs, MDs, PhDs, and licensed social workers to reach the best possible result for our clients.
