Jones Waldo Attorney Receives Award from Utah State Bar

SALT LAKE CITY – July 15, 2016 Jones Waldo, one of Utah’s most enduring and prestigious law firms, is pleased to announce that the Real Property Section of the Utah State Bar awarded attorney Paul Harman with its “Distinguished Practitioner of the Year” award at their annual meeting in May.

This is the highest honor provided by the Section, and as such, is not always awarded.  The Section notes that the award is given to “a real property lawyer who has distinguished himself or herself in the practice of law in the State of Utah. The recipient exemplifies the highest professional and ethical standards of the members of the Section.”

“I am honored to have been recognized for my work in retail development and commercial property acquisition,” said attorney Paul Harman. “Representing the interests of my clients is always my top priority.”

Paul Harman assists Jones Waldo clients in purchasing, leasing or selling real property and related assets. He currently represents Extra Space Storage in purchasing storage sites across the country, as well as Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in negotiating store locations for expansion program in both the Midwest and the West. Harman also represents other national retail clients (Wal-Mart Stores, Kohl’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods) in selling, purchasing or leasing property in shopping centers in across the country.

“This recognition for Paul is well-deserved,” said Keven Rowe, president of Jones Waldo. “I want to express our congratulations to Paul for his accomplishments in the real property legal arena over the years. He continually goes above and beyond for our clients, and it’s great to see that work publicly recognized.”
