Three Jones Waldo Attorneys Named Salt Lake City ‘Lawyers of the Year’
Jones Waldo announced three of its attorneys have been named Salt Lake City “Lawyers of the Year” for 2012 in their individual practice areas by international legal publication Best Lawyers. Rick L. Knuth is “Salt Lake City Best Lawyers Banking and Finance Law Lawyer of the Year,” Michael Patrick O’Brien is “Salt Lake City Best Lawyers Employment Law – Management Lawyer of the Year,” and George R. Sutton is “Salt Lake City Best Lawyers Financial Services Regulation Law Lawyer of the Year.”
Knuth assists institutional and private lenders and borrowers in asset-based loan transactions, real estate financing, accounts receivable and inventory-based financing. O’Brien, leader of the firm’s Employment Law Practice Group, has extensive experience in employment and labor law, including serving as legal and legislative director for Utah SHRM and Salt Lake SHRM. Sutton counsels local, regional and national financial institutions on regulatory compliance, corporate governance and strategic planning. He previously served as the Utah Commissioner of Financial Institutions. All three attorneys graduated from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah.
