Jones Waldo Sponsors and Participates in Law Day 2013

The theme for this year's Law Day is, "Realizing the Dream: Equality for All." The sentiment of these powerful words, is expressed during the many activities organized by the Utah State Bar and "and Justice for all".

Law Day--which is officially designated as May 1--was created in 1961 by a Joint Resolution of Congress as a "special day of celebration by the American people in appreciation of their liberties..." and as a " to the ideals of equality and justice under laws."

Firm president Keven Rowe, secretary of the executive committee Rob Alston and Jones Waldo attorney and Utah State Bar president Lori Nelson were on-hand last week at the Law Day luncheon to accept the award for Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year. This is a high honor for all members of the Jones Waldo staff.

More than 50 members of the firm and their families will be participating in the annual Law Day run on Saturday, May 18. The 5K is an annual event that is organized by and that raises money for "and Justice for all".

We wish everyone a great run and appreciate the efforts of everyone involved in making this year's Law Day a great success.
